Shawn Achor says that: “We’ve pushed happiness over the cognitive horizon, as a society. And that’s because we think we have to be successful, then we’ll be happier. But our brains work in the opposite order.” He goes onto say that a happy brain performs significantly better than an unhappy, or stressed one, and then intelligence, creativity, and energy rise. It’s a good way to rewire our brains about how we think about business.
